Within the area of the National Park Peneda-Gerês, in the midle of the old Roman Road, only a few kilometers from Galiza, Cerdeira is situated in a place where nature was generous and has lefted a valuable heritage wich we want to promote and preserve. Side by side with Albergaria forest and the, not forgoten, village of Vilarinho da Furna, that progress has forever submurged in the waters of the dam that has perpetuated its name, opened all year with a variety of offers ranging from the simple place to install a tent to the caravan or campervan, the colective lodgement for groups, to bungalows with a more modern and refined space, our doors are open so that You can venture in the same mountain where in summer You can catch sight of the sea and in winter gets covered by a white snow mantle.

Parque de Cerdeira speaks a little of all this: in the service, in the way we receive, by collecting some gastronomic related traditions: magusto (raosting chestnuts in a fire), the killing of the pig, the maize husking, the rye threshing; In the animation: walking and horse ride trails, mounteneering, orienteering, canoeing, mountainbiking and fishing; in the offered infrastructures, by using the noble materials from the region like granite and wood, giving the envolving area of the campsite the ancient look.

From January 2010, the CCI card will no longer be required for admission on our camping, a new concept of discounts will be introduced, extended to all clients, different according to the various seasons of the year.

This time of the year is, probably, one of the seasons where we can feel nature in all its splendor. We want to give You a stimulation, take advantage on the promotions that we will put at your disposal during the next months.

Low season, Yes!

Even in winter camping is a good option for Your hollidays or weekends. We have bungalows and dormitory. On the 31st of October a heating system for the sanitary facilities, in use, will be inaugurated.

Passing of the old year in Gerês

During Christmas season and until the passing of the old year, we present a range of activities to discover the Gerês mountain. Walk along the mountain meadows, have fun on the back of a horse along the trails from the National Park of Peneda-Gerês, try the activities with ropes and “via ferrata”, on the great rocky massifs. This is our proposal to turn into something unforgettable your passing of the old year. Enter 2008 with the right foot.
