The restaurant, which we are endeavouring to make into a local gastronomic reference, is open to the general public in view of its location vis-à-vis the perimeter of the Park. It is a very pleasant, almost typical space, seating 100 people, and there you can savour the good veal of the region and excellent codfish for those who can’t resist this symbol of Portuguese cuisine. Our team is ready to service groups with a wide variety of suggestions. |

The swimming pool complements the clear lakes of the River Homem. It is 20 metres long by 9 metres wide, incorporating a small space for children. It is located on the sunniest side of the Park and has the support of the new bar and our meadow, set aside for leisure and contemplation. The space has surveilance. |

The mini-market ensures you at least have the bare essentials for campsite meals as well as supplying some local products which is set to increase in 2007. Laundry… As you’re on holiday and you don’t want to waste time on your clothes, let our staff look after it… It is not coin-operated, we have a clothes care service which can also dry and even iron your clothes. As regards environmental education… since the very outset we have had a series of environmental concerns which we have endeavoured to convey to our clients. The way in which our constructions are integrated in the landscape as well as the use of materials, the way in which we would like clients to conduct themselves when inside the most important protected area in the country, the way we reach clients without recourse to “visual pollution”, with selective waste collection, water consumption rationalisation systems, the gradual use of alternative energies (currently, solar energy) and the attitude of our guides in open air activities. |
